About Us

Faith In God Ministries International, a web of church assemblies and strategic ministries engulfing the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a rapidly growing church founded in Zimbabwe in 1999 by Archbishop Dr. Asa Gurupira & Apostle Mavis Gurupira.

At the core of our existence is to reach out to souls with the gospel of Jesus Christ with the aim of reconciling people with their Maker. Our vision calls us to bring the church to the people hence we have over 200 church assemblies in several nations namely Zimbabwe, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Zambia, Kenya, Tanzania, United Kingdom, Cuba and Fiji

The following statement of faith is what Faith In God Ministries International churches and all our strategic ministries believe in:

1. We believe that the Bible is the infallible, inspired and authoritative Word of God to all of mankind and that it is our guide for faith and practice. 2 Tim 3:6-1 7
2. We believe in one God, the Creator of heaven and earth, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Matt 28:19
3. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ,
4. Gods Son who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary, died on the cross of Calvary and rose from the dead on the third day.
5. We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our LORD Jesus Christ (l Cor 1 2:1 2, 1 3)
6. We believe that man was originally created in the image of God, but fell as a result of sin.
7. We believe that salvation is through Jesus Christ and Him alone received by faith and through Gods grace, it is Gods gift to mankind and not of works.
8. We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit or in the name of Jesus Christ after confession of faith in Christ Jesus.
9. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the ministry of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as described in 1 Corinthians Chapter 12 and as evidenced in Acts Chapter 2.Consequently, we believe in laying on of hands on the sick, anointing with oil and casting out devils (Luke 1 3:1 1 - 13, Mark 1 6:17 - 20, James 5:14, 1 5)
10. We believe in the resurrection of the saved unto everlasting life in Heaven and the resurrection of the unsaved unto everlasting punishment in Hell.
    
11. We believe in Christ's Commission to the church to go into all the world and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature.
    
12. We believe in the return of Jesus Christ for the receiving of His church and for the final judgement of mankind.
    
13. We do not stand behind any involvement in Native Religion. We worship Jesus Christ and no other spirits or animals.
    
14.  We believe in praising the LORD with instruments, clapping our hands and dancing before our Most High God (Ps 47:1, Ps 1 50)
